Right in the heart of our local community, when we were approached to donate a tree to a local school in Biggleswade, we were more than happy to oblige. Stratton School has recently opened a new unit for their students. The Autism Centre of Excellence (ACE) has been completed with the support of Central Bedfordshire Council.
Delivered on 1st May 2025, the day of the official opening, by the allgrowth logistics team, the 10/12cm girth 2.5 metre tall cherry tree was offloaded and ready for planting in time for guests arrival from the local community and council.
The original request was for a tree that will “make a statement” and the cherry will certainly do that as it matures, giving foliage and blossom interest across the seasons. Justine McCarthy, Principal’s PA from Stratton School, was delighted with the donation and along with the students, staff and visitors, is very much looking forward to seeing the tree establish and grow in its new forever home.
